Community Groups
We think of all organisations and clubs that meet in the various centres and churches of this area; how it brings people together, produces fun times, and enables many friendships and opportunities to develop.
Corporate Prayer Series
As we continue to look at ways to enhance our praying together, and to be more open and vulnerable with each other, let’s pray that we may learn from God what He chooses to teach us, and be willing to put that into action.
Other Faiths
Lord, there are so many people in this world, all from different backgrounds and experiences. We pray for those of other faiths and cultures, other beliefs, who are as passionate about what they believe as we are about You. Help us to find ways to journey together in love, finding the common ground rather than what separates us.
Local Businesses
Let us pray for those businesses in the locality, providing a service for us – things we can purchase, things we can enjoy. Let’s give thanks for people’s dedication, and for the fact that we have the things we need on our doorstep.
The Heart of England
Let’s give thanks for the fact that we are so central, in this country – able to go from here to anywhere, with the help of the motorway. There are so many lovely places to visit and enjoy in this area, and such beauty in the rural settings – let’s give thanks for favourite spots, and great occasions enjoyed.
Family Time
Lord, we give thanks for families: for the times we spend together, those precious moments, the special occasions. Thank you for the love and support we give and receive.
Global Warming
The world is affected by humans. We need to pray for ways in which we can help maintain this planet’s future, by the things we do or don’t do. Let us also pray that we learn other ways in which to preserve the beauty of God’s earth.
Psalm 67: 1-3
‘May God be gracious to us and bless us, and make His face to shine upon us, that Your way may be known upon the earth, Your saving power among the nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You.’
